Frustrated experience

I Hired a Paid Traffic Agency and Saw No Results

The pitch was convincing, the results never showed up. Understand why so many agency experiences end in frustration.

Hiring an agency and never seeing the promised result is one of the most common and most frustrating experiences for anyone investing in online advertising. In most cases, the problem sits in the agency incentive structure, or a lack of real specialization in conversion, not just running ads.

The first conversation is usually exciting. Promises of more customers, quick returns, an experienced team handling everything. A few months later, what is left is a signed contract, a monthly fee still being paid, and results that never came close to what was promised. If you have been through this, you know how heavy that frustration is, especially when the money invested could have gone somewhere else in the business.

The first instinct is usually to give up on paid ads entirely, to conclude "it just does not work for my type of business." But before drawing that conclusion, it is worth understanding what usually goes wrong with these hires, because in the vast majority of cases the problem was never the ad format, it was who was in charge of it.

Why so many hires end this way

Many paid traffic agencies work with generalist teams, people running campaigns for dozens of clients at once, without real time to understand each business in depth. The result is a generic campaign, copied from a template that works reasonably well for any client but very well for none.

There is also a focus problem. Paid traffic spans Google, Meta, TikTok, and several other platforms, and it is rare to find a team that deeply masters all of them at once. What is far more common is mediocre competence spread thin, instead of real specialization in the one channel that would actually bring return for your type of business.

What changes with real specialization

Work that actually converts requires deep understanding of one or two platforms, and it requires handling everything that happens after the click too, tracking, the landing page, the funnel that leads to the sale. Without that combination, even the best-built ad runs into a poorly handled next step and the money is lost along the way.

BSC is an independent Google Ads and conversion specialist, not a generalist traffic agency. It charges a flat fee for the work, with no commission on your budget, and handles everything end to end, from the campaign to what happens after the click.
